The good news is, you’re only couple steps away from sharing your data. Firstly, you upload point cloud into the scene, next select settings for a scene. In this text, we’ll concentrate on the first step.

Let’s imagine you work for surveying company. You want to transfer the point cloud data collected on the construction site to clients. They need to view the site, make measurements and give feedback as quick information exchange is crucial for the work progress. Finally, you know how to achieve it. You’ve decided to use Pointscene platform to share data with customers. But first, you must upload the point cloud.

I’ll explain how to start. Go to upload page and decide on a title for your new scene. Then add data files from your computer either by browsing files or drag&drop them into the specified box. Your data can include point clouds (required), additional 360 images or vector data. Find more info on different data types in my previous text.

To start uploading data, click Create. You can as well mark Create automatically. In this case, the upload will begin instantly after adding data files. You’ll be moved to scene page. Don’t be alarmed when display window is empty. Processing and displaying of the scene take some time. After the procedure successfully ends, you’ll get a notification on the email.

That’s all about uploading data. For further information about creating a new scene, check out the next article describing how to choose settings.
