Howdy!
How hops it? It’s been a busy couple of weeks on the field for me. If that foul wasn’t enough, life keeps taking penalties on you.

Ugh! How depressing?! It shall pass, though.

Anyway, I am back with the latest TPB newsletter. Unlike last time, I won’t blah blah over India’s dismal performance at world sporting events. I will keep this short and focused on the agenda.

Hey there, Freshers!

On behalf of the entire TPB team, I welcome these not-so-Medium-fresh freshers who decided to join the ranks of TPB sportswriters. Please visit their profiles, read their work and make them pennillionaires.

TPB Writing Tournament Updates

The qualifying stage of the tournament [or tourney as

likes to call it] is fast approaching its deadline, May 31st. You have got a couple of more weeks to give yourself a shot at winning $100.

Take action, NOW!

If you want to read already published fabulous entries, you can read them here. It will give you a fair idea of what you are up against.

What did you say? What writing tournament? Are you kidding me? But don’t worry Johnny-come-lately. The post below contains all the details you need to know. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to drop them in the comments.

Suite’84 Exclusive Reading Club

If you don’t already know, Suite ’84 Publishing is Mama Ki aka

’s dynasty under which TPB and five other Medium publications operate. I am not only her business partner but also the fellow who keeps giving her ideas she loves rejecting.

However, to my luck, Mama approved my idea of an exclusive reading club for ’84 writers. Why? Because she is willing to try anything to help boost the stats of her writers.

If you have got fed up with your stats and are willing to commit two hours per week to a symbiotic community of writers, we invite you to join us on this initiative. The details are in the post below.

If you want to write for other ’84 publications, please see the instructions in this post to join us.

How is the Publication Doing?

  • We had over 25,200 minutes of reading time since our launch last month.
  • We had over 22,000 views in one month.
  • Over 425 unique visits to our publication daily. This number is on a continuous rise.
  • We are a team of 76 writers and 79 followers at the time of publishing.

We want to thank all of you for supporting your fellow writers on TPB and the publication. We cannot stress enough how important it is for all of you to support each other for individual success since there aren’t many “true readers” on Medium.

Medium Tip of the Week

If you are like me, who likes writing on Medium’s editor, you might have made the mistake of wiping off your entire story. Don’t worry. I do that all the time.

You can always recover your old drafts by following the arrows in the screenshot below.

That’s it for today

I’ll leave you with this joke I heard recently. After all, laughter is the best medicine.

What’s the difference between a pickpocket and an umpire?

One steals watches and one watches steals.

Stay positive and keep testing negative.
