Psalm 107 — Mercy Endures Forever

Give thanks for God will satisfy,
Will break our chains and bring us out;
We will escape the dismal cloud
To frolic ‘neath a sunny sky.

Those who live
Beneath the shadow of death,
Bound and imprisoned,
Cry out!
God will break your chains.
Give thanks!

Who calms the storm and floods the drought,
The harvest Who will multiply,
And bountiful blessings supply,
And Who of you is always proud?

Give thanks to God
For God is good
And mercy is forever.
Give thanks to God
For lovingkindness;
The righteous see and rejoice.

Louez l’Éternel, car il est bon,
Car sa miséricorde dure à toujours!

Esther learned to read when she was four years old, and began writing shortly thereafter. She is a queer Christian poet, crafting with words to create art and music.
