Psalm 93 — Many Waters

A city of skyscrapers with rain pouring down and huge waves of water flooding more than halfway up the buildings.

The floods have risen up, Oh Lord,
The floods have lifted up their roar,
The waves are high upon the shore,
But You are crown and shield and sword.

You are clothed
In majesty,
Your Throne was founded
To endure,
Your cloak is strength,
And You are everlasting.

God, holiness adorns Your door;
Your promise sure: I am restored
For truth and mercy is Your word
Here in Your house forevermore.

You built the Earth
On firm foundation
And we will not be moved.
You are mightier
Than many waters,
Than many waves.

La sainteté convient à ta maison,
O Éternel! pour toute la durée des temps.

Esther learned to read when she was four years old, and began writing shortly thereafter. She is a queer Christian poet, crafting with words to create art and music.
