It was a pretty good week production wise for almost all of our ProTops, and it feels like they’re getting ready to really make names for themselves this season.

Jack Doyle, Indianapolis Colts (vs. San Francisco Giants, Sun. at 12 p.m.)

I’m going to let you folks in on little secret — the Indianapolis Colts are baaaaaad. Poor Jack Doyle. I know he’s loved there by fans and players, but I just want to see him do well.

He had a good showing in primetime last week, catching five balls for 27 yards in a loss against the Seahawks. Maybe he can grab a score when the Colts take on San Fran this week.

Taywan Taylor, Tennessee Titans (at Miami Dolphins, Sun. at 12 p.m.)

Taylor was targeted just once through the air and had one carry for six yards as the Titans got decimated by the Texans this weekend.

Ever since Corey Davis went down earlier in the year, we’ve kept waiting for Taywan to truly emerge as the next man up, but that has yet to happen. Maybe it will Sunday, because the Dolphins have looked putrid.

Tyler Higbee, Los Angeles Rams (vs. Seattle Seahawks, Sun. at 3:05 p.m.)

Don’t look now, but Higbee and the Rams might be one of the more fun surprises to emerge in the first quarter of this year. Fresh off a win against Dallas in Jerry World, the Rams will go up against Seattle this week.

Higbee was the Rams’ third leading receiver, right behind Todd Gurley and the quickly emerging Cooper Kupp, catching three passes (on six targets) for 47 yards.

Antwane Grant, Saskatchewan Roughriders (at Toronto Argonauts, Sat. at 3 p.m.)

Grant started last week’s win over Ottawa, with an injury to the Riders’ leading receiver, and should be in the same position this week as the Riders head to Toronto.

Grant caught two passes for 45 yards last week, including a long catch and run, and was used frequently and targeted often, but Riders QB Kevin Glenn looked out of step with his receivers all night, limiting Grant’s final numbers.

I wonder how similar his production will be because the Riders are set to debut former Bama back Trent Richardson. And, no, I’m not implying they’re going to run the game every down, but it’s always interesting to see how a new dynamic can add to (or takeaway from) and offense.

What game will you have your eye on this weekend? Who would you like to see have an explosive game? Let us know in a comment below, via Twitter at @TheTowelRackWKU or on our Facebook page.
