#TokyoToppers: Ramsey Qualifies for Shot Put Final

Former Western Kentucky shotput thrower Jessica Ramsey has qualified for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics shot put finals after finishing in the Top 12 in qualifications Friday morning.

Ramsey, who set the USA shotput record during the Olympic Trials earlier this year, finished sixth overall, throwing 18.75.

American Raven Saunders won the qualifying round, throwing 19.22.

The shotput final is set for 7:35 p.m. Saturday night, Bowling Green time.
