Another weekend, another recap of emotions brought to y’all by yours truly. So I have to say, week 3 was way better than week 2, mainly because we finally had some UPSETS! And some of those “top-ranked teams” didn’t play like top-ranked teams. Plus, it wouldn’t be football without a little drama. With that, I wrote a little letter to all the football players who read my column; and yes, players do in fact read this column (okay, maybe not).

Dear every football player,

I am begging, actually begging for you to HOLD ON TO THE BALL. If you get pushed and you fumble it, that’s one thing — but if you’re running to the end zone and you’re about to get your team six points, DO NOT DROP THE BALL. I’m not sure if y’all knew that the football has to go into the end zone to score but what do I know?

Sincerely,

Natalie (and every other fan out there)

And now for the GIFs:

Even though Oregon lost, they won the weekend by honoring Sam Foltz and Nebraska with flowers at the 27-yard line — ALL THE FEELS (Nebraska, 35 Oregon 32):

When South Carolina State’s Ahmaad Harris “fumbled” the ball after not taking a knee in the end zone and it resulted in a Clemson touchdown (Clemson 59, South Carolina State 0):

Well, Oklahoma tried.. (Ohio State 45, Oklahoma 24):

Thinking a top 10 matchup would be an amazing 3 hours of TV but it actually wasn’t (Louisville 63, Florida State 20):

Did y’all actually think Alabama would lose? Here’s to another week of ’Bama being at the top (Alabama 48, Ole Miss 43):

Knowing Texas A&M would beat Auburn on the road (Texas A&M 29, Auburn 16):

All the Longhorn fans (including myself) leaving California Memorial Stadium (Cal 50, Texas 43):

“But Natalie you went to Arkansas and work for Pac-12 but are cheering for Texas?”

When people say North Dakota State doesn’t deserve to be in the Top 25 because they’re FCS (North Dakota State 23, Iowa 21):

*even though they’ve won five straight national titles and their last six games against FBS teams*

Home videos of Cincinnati fans after Houston scored 28 points in the fourth quarter (Houston 40, Cincinnati 16):

Who’s ready for week 4?

PS: Arkansas is 3–0 (Arkansas 42, Texas State 3):

Best games this week: SEC showdowns of №12 George at №23 Ole Miss and №14 Tennessee at №19 Florida; and №10 Texas A&M at №17 Arkansas, both 3–0, in prime-time Saturday on ESPN.
