At Workshopping the Worldview, we are called to ask ourselves, in this moment of transformation, who are we becoming — individually and collectively?

Norma Wong, Zen teacher and movement strategist, reminds us that we have seeds already in us — seeds that if planted and nurtured, will grow us, and the world we want to create. They are the seeds of inner and ancestral wisdom, planted eons ago by ancestors whose names we have forgotten, from the places we have forgotten that we migrated from.

They give us the fruit of who we are becoming.

How do we welcome and nurture those seeds? How do we nurture our whole selves and usher in transformation?

Norma adds, “being is beyond identity. It is beyond belief systems. It is even beyond knowledge. It is truly the stuff that we are made of. It includes our strengths and our character and it includes the ways in which we may feel vulnerable in the world. It is the stuff that makes us resilient even in our vulnerability. It is the stuff — the matter—that matters.”

In this 9 minute excerpt, Norma takes us through a reflection of what we already have within us, and what we must do to catalyze transformation individually and collectively.
