“No news is good news” and in this case explains my elusive nature over the last weeks. Without making too much of a grand re-entrance, I’d like you all to see and hear what has been going on at the SNH homestead.

Weighing in at a whopping 780 grams or 1.72 pounds is 132 pages bursting with colour and word-smithery. The Salutatory Issue has reached anticipating hands and eyes — —we are receiving a steady flow of messages, expressing gratitude, connection, encouragement, warmth, kudos & props, as well as suggestions and proposals.

“ A KID CALLED GERALD” BY CHARLOTTE GERRARD

Praise, as well as the critical & constructive feedback has been a gift for us. As we underwent a “debriefing” process, seeing & hearing what our readers have to say, has gifted us with due insight, leading us to make decisions to take the publication to a whole new level.

Essentially, the Salutatory Issue has been the spring-board for the publication, and we now find that it has also acted as a catalyst for change, albeit earlier than anticipated. In our view, the Salutatory Issue has been a successful pilot issue, the “mother” of all subsequent issues if you will, sharing its DNA while withstanding a few twists and turns.

CHANGES? WHAT CHANGES? WHY?

Evolution by Wowches

Change is avoided, change is not always well received, however, as the ancient Heraclitus opined- change is the only thing constant.

With that, we shall not argue, instead, we are hoofing it to march onward and upward.

The objectives of the changes envisaged are by design amongst other things, to increase the readership by ten-fold and introduce a new twist, the details of which I shall be announcing August 17th 2018.

For now, I leave you in minor suspense and trust that your curiosity is piqued.

Stay tuned…
