🎨 Review your color-coded list. This is the list you created in Step 2. You’ll use the colors to organize thoughts into smaller lists.

✏️ Starting with one color, write a smaller list for one category. Give each list a name, for example:

  • Daily To-Do List
  • Awfulizing List
  • Procrastination List
  • Big Life Goal List #1, #2, #3, etc.

👀 Read through your small lists. Notice how you’ve already started making sense of your thoughts and understanding which category they belong to. Instead of being stuck in a never-ending cycle of repetitive thoughts (and incoming ones) every day, now you have a more manageable list that you can work on. You’ll use your work to prioritize your most important thoughts and create a plan to take action.
