If you’re new to Fiverr, welcome! In many ways, being a seller on Fiverr is like being a seller on eBay. No one wants to be there, everyone you look to for help is jaded, we all need to pay the bills, and no one wants to be there.

Like anything else, Fiverr is a tool. If it’s not properly used, it can hurt you. More emotionally than physically, but it still hurts.

And what hurts is a bad review. What hurts even more is someone trying to leave a bad review, trying to get their money back, and calling up Fiverr to ban you from the platform.

Sometimes, you will find yourself dealing with a scammer. Someone who had no intention of ever paying you, and even if you delivered the best work ever created, they would complain. And because Fiverr values clients over sellers, they will [almost] always side with the client.

How to avoid the scammers?

Charge more

In this article, I briefly talked about how stressful and difficult it is to start charging more for your product. Especially in the beginning. For me, I wasn’t sure how much I was worth, how good my work was, and what people would be willing to pay.

But, like anything else, there are different levels of buyers.
