There must be some kind o’ way out of here,
This morning I woke up in my bed, my dog curled up next to me. And next to him… a dead squirrel, lying on its back with it paws frozen upwards. I screamed, flew out of bed and went to find my husband.
I burn for you
Like the Midnight Sun,
Invisible to your human eye.
In the darkness you still stumble,
I wonder whether you would notice
Perhaps one day I would dawn on you,
That I was there all along.
