Like Wagakki Band after them, Crow×Class’s pioneering music is not confine rigidly to metal. The highlight of their sound is its folk aspect — the koto, shakuhachi, shamisen, wadaiko, which are put to the forefront by the players and the vocalist, the quintet themselves, some of whom are members of Wagakki band. Crow×Class’s style is distinctly more aggressive though. Their heavy songs, range from thrashy like Ai-Shinkuro to death metal-like with the blast beats and growls and all, such as Karakuri-Meiro.
