Regardless of their lyrical themes, (which I find relatable and interesting as I’m Catholic), i dig Holy Blood mainly for their music’s metal qualities, which often on the extreme side (death metal, etc.) and the fact that they can seamlessly fuse these brutal features with the cooling melodies of their folk instruments, like their flutes and pipes.
