#62: Percival Schuttenbach
The band behind The Witcher 3’s epic soundtrack deserves a spot in this list ten times over.

Prior to 2015 (the game’s release), I’ve already known about this band from Poland. Playing mostly pure folk music, their powerful vocal harmonies and the ominous combination of the Byzantine lira/gudok/rebec, saz, flutes, and drums result in a goosebump-inducing and adrenaline-pumping sound.
Their metal albums, naturally, caught my attention eventually. Their full band sound is just as potent as their folk set-up. I just wish that they make more metal albums or songs where the incorporation of their folk elements is truly maximized.
