The Abyss Platform Development
Our Token Sale (DAICO) draws to a close. The Soft Cap level was reached in 24 hours, which means that The Abyss digital distribution platform will go live. The development process is in full swing already, and it is moving ahead consistently and continuously. Now we would like to share the info on how the things are going on.
The platform’s system architecture
The platform’s back-end is being built in Python 3.6 programming language with the addition of Django and Django REST Framework. The concept of the platform will have the micro-service architecture. We have chosen the GO programming language for introducing the high-load asynchronous services. The mechanism for reliable message delivery utilizes the AMQP protocol built in RabbitMQ.
The platform’s front-end is being developed in ReactJS/MobX. The TypeScript providing high typo-security and allowing to write a clean, sustainable and easily scalable code is the key programming language used for development purposes.
In the near future we’re planning to release the SDK platform in the form of native libraries and components for popular game frameworks like Unity3D, Unreal Engine and more. Our SDK will provide for the availability of migrating games from large platforms in just a couple of hours. In particular, Xsolla’s 2000+ game projects will get a quick and easy access to the platform.
Upgrading the prototype
In early April, we have presented you the first version of the platform’s prototype, and will release its first major update very soon. To help you pass the time while you wait for the platform, we’ll add one of our browser games to the prototype. Credit renewals and payments for game purchases with ABYSS tokens will be also available for testing. This will allow you to immerse in the crypto reward ecosystem unique atmosphere and enjoy the innovations and benefits that cryptocurrencies and blockchain can bring into your life.
Enforcing the developing team
The Abyss is being developed by the high-end game industry professionals. There are 80 team members that are currently working on the project. During the Token Sale (DAICO) period the company’s technical team has increased by 11 highly qualified specialists (chosen out of 100+ candidates). Further plans include hiring 15 more professionals to work on the platform, comprising 5 senior / lead programmers and 10 middle and junior developers.
The Abyss Team will keep you up to date with the development progress twice per month.
