Finish The Story: Calling All Writers!

We wanted to get more involved with the writing community so we thought we’d put together something fun!
This game is for writers of all levels and this one is open to anyone on Medium.
Even if you haven’t written a single word of fiction before, feel free to hop in!
How it works:
- Everyone who wants to contribute writes 1 paragraph based on the previous entry.
- Comment on this post with the next paragraph.
- Do not submit anything graphic, overly-violent, sexist, racist, etc.
- Proofread your work before submitting it.
Starting paragraph:
The willow trees around her had their branches swaying in the wind. On that cool autumn day, they appeared to be reaching out. For what, she was not sure. As her back rested against the trunk, she ran her hand over a root protruding from the ground. As she did, Barbera thought about the summers she would spend here with her sister.
