“Add view” vs. “Add Item”
A note about adding viewpoints to Journeys
Thortspace Journeys, have fundamentally two different kinds of Viewpoints:
(1) Viewpoints that point at locations on spheres;
(2) Viewpoints that point at a particular thort or thortgroup.
When you add a viewpoint to journey, if you have a thort or a group selected, the “Add Item” button becomes available (as well as the “Add View” button, which is always available).
So if you want a viewpoint that points to the current view of the sphere, use “Add View”.
And if you want a viewpoint that points to a particular thort or thortgroup, select the thort or thortgroup first and click “Add Item” .
