At THX Network we believe that creators and organizations should get more control over their online communities and intellectual capital. Our blockchain technology provides them with the tools to do so, on the platforms their communities are already using.

Earlier this month, we shipped our first platform connection that enabled those with YouTube channels to reward their communities with tokens for liking videos and subscribing to their channel. Now, we’re happy to report we’ve expanded our integrations even further.

Twitter Conditional Rewards are here 🙌🚀

Our new product functionality allows users to create rewards for when certain engagements on Twitter take place. To get started, connect your Twitter account to THX Network.

Before setting up your conditional rewards, connect your Twitter account.

After connecting your Twitter account, creating your rewards is simple. Simply navigate to your token pool and select which engagements you want to reward your users for and how many tokens they should receive. At this moment supported engagements are Liking a specific Tweet, Retweeting a specific Tweet and Following a Twitter account. When creating the reward you can either let users claim the reward once, or multiple times. For most use cases, claiming once is advised to prevent misuse.

Supported engagements are Liking a specific Tweet, Retweeting a specific Tweet and Following a Twitter account.

After creating the reward, share the automatically generated URLs or QR codes with your community members, so they can claim their rewards. When following the link, they’ll be asked to sign in using their Twitter profiles, so we can verify that the required engagement that had to be completed in order to receive the reward, has indeed taken place.

Important — Don’t violate Twitter’s User Policy

Mandatory disclaimer; use this functionality at your own risk. Automated rewards potentially can conflict with Twitter’s User Policy, section ‘Pay to Engage’. Make sure you construct your app or reward rules in such a way that complies with Twitter’s policy. THX Network is not liable for any potential damages resulting from third party terms of service or user policy violations.

At this moment we advise users to reward their Twitter communities afterwards, instead of promising a reward for a certain engagement beforehand. This should prevent inauthentic engagements and users trying to game the system, while still stimulating desired user behavior. The best way to explore how this new functionality can help you or your organization achieve your goals is to schedule a demo with one of our team members on our Demo Page.
