Our Community Responds to the Termination of DACA
Since the Trump Administration announced its intention to end the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program on Tuesday, voices across the nation have cried out in defense of Dreamers. Nearly 800,000 DACA recipients attend our schools, work alongside us, serve in our armed forces and help us respond to disasters like Hurricane Harvey. They embody the grit, tenacity and determination that make America special. In the face of gnawing uncertainty and real fear that they may be forced to leave the only country they have ever known, we stand with Dreamers and have compiled a list of resources and commitments from across our community.
