Latest updates and announcement of the Tixico Roadshow of 2019
Dear Tixicommunity,
It’s been a long time since the last update to our blog, so I’d like to start by saying “thank you” for your support, relentless interest and trust in our dream of making ticketing more fair and safe. It’s been really inspiring to keep hearing from you all these months and I hope it’ll continue in the future as well.
After the public announcement of our successful pilot project, we attended a couple of conferences in September in London and had our first sold-out event in November with our partners Austras balva, a music awards ceremony in Latvia. At that point, we had been working hard for quite some time without any public announcements and decided to keep it that way until we have something really exciting to show to you, and that’s why I’m writing this announcement.
For more than a year we have been working really hard on fixing the ticketing industry by bringing Tixico to you and we’re finally really close to doing so. I’m not going to reveal the official launch date of Tixico yet as this will be confirmed soon with a special announcement, but I can whisper that we’ll announce it first already on Wednesday to the attendees of the Startup World Cup in Prague. I’d also like to note that this announcement will come bundled with some exciting news on some of our new partnerships that I’m sure you’ll be as excited about as we are!
Startup World Cup in Prague will be the first event in our Spring/Summer roadshow of 2019. We have been selected as one of 21 best startups in Eastern Europe and we’ll be competing in their pitching contest to become the best European startup and the prize of 500 000 USD!
