TNC Events: CEO Bruce Jeong Attends Washington Elite Summit
TNC CEO Bruce Jeong will attend a major event in the blockchain industry: Washington Elite Summit. The event this year is themed “smart-cities edition.”
We are thrilled to announce TNC’s participation at the first-ever Washington Elite Summit dedicated to Blockchain and Artificial Intelligence (AI). Our company will be represented by our very own Bruce Jeong. He will be in company with some of the notable blockchain personalities that will gather in Schönbrunn Palace, Vienna from October 11 to 12, 2019. The event stage is said to be the ground for several debates and insightful talks encompassing topics about Smart Cities, blockchain, and other emerging technologies.
The event participants will have the opportunity to attend various conferences on the blockchain field with topics not limited to: Self-sovereign Identity, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Augmented Reality (AR), and security token offerings (STO). Two blockchain certification classes will also be available for individuals who are interested in learning more about blockchain technology.
Furthermore, over forty companies confirmed their participation in the event. Some of the confirmed keynote speakers along with Bruce Jeong are Vit Jedlicka, President of Liberland; Stefan Rust, CEO at Bitcoin.com; Ali Kassab, Chairman at Centurion; and Renée Wagner, Smart Cities specialist among others.
Bruce Jeong: A Smart City Expert
Bruce is prominently known as a visionary and an advocate of the Smart Crypto City. Having the underlying Smart City technologies, he was invited to give a talk about Smart City blockchain integration. Bruce also wishes to share how TNC can foster state cooperation to build smart cities around the developing world, all through its Blockchain Academy initiative.
Bruce also serves as the Korea Representative Director Member of the International Decentralized Association of Cryptocurrency and Blockchain (IDACB). Having an important role in the international organization, Bruce is responsible for projects related to the progress of the “Smart Crypto City.” The integration of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) and of the Internet of Things (IoT) is a significant venture that aims to enable cities to interact directly with society and its infrastructure through leveraging blockchain technology.
Planning Cities of the Future
In simple terms, the concept of Smart City is a movement and a vision to be applied in a governmental-level. Heads of state and major infrastructure providers are encouraged to as part of the urbanization progress.
In an article released about Smart Cities in Forbes Magazine;
“The potential to improve several aspects of public service systems as well as the quality of life and reduce costs has driven the demand for smart cities.”
The Smart City components are a combination of IoT solutions, data analytics, user interfaces, and communication networks working together to deliver a more efficient and more productive society. Indeed, Smart Cities can be seen as a promising goal for the future.
For its first edition, Washington Elite Summit dedicates the event with a focus on Smart Cities — its technologies, policies, regulations, and other possibilities. The success of this first Washington Elite Summit will account significantly for how the event will sustain as an industry event in the future. Moreover, the event will be an important opportunity for tech developers and blockchain advocates to all together form unity and extend the Smart City reality to more nations across continents — forming an international vision of a cluster of technologies.
