Get to know TNC in-depth as an organization with its founding vision in this one-on-one interview.
What inspired you to build a company like TNC IT Solutions?
Great question. I’ve always seen blockchain technology as a great structural cornerstone in building creative solutions that can enhance how we do things. Since I worked for Korean conglomerates Samsung and Hyundai for more than ten years, I’ve always been eager to get into the next technological advancement.
I envision TNC to be at the forefront in providing blockchain developments and consultancy services to other enterprises around the world. TNC is the company that will provide blockchain solutions and builds platforms to address society’s problems, enriching daily lifestyle.
As an international company, what can TNC offer the blockchain industry worldwide?
TNC is a network-focused company. We are all about building cross-border bridges, maintaining beneficial relationships, and nurturing technical skills. TNC’s M&A Program and Blockchain Academy, are part of our core offerings to fill in the gaps we see in the blockchain industry.
I laid down the M&A initiative, as I see our uniquely structured M&A will offer excellent opportunities for start-ups to get resources and innovations to develop further. Our Blockchain Academy will grant scholarship privileges that can fill up the shortage of blockchain experts and help those who miss the opportunity to learn due to financial issues.
Do you think it is time to launch a massive M&A program in the blockchain and crypto industry?
I always believe in teamwork and the concept of unity. I have noticed as the crypto and blockchain industry rapidly progress, crypto developments remain disconnected in different parts of the globe. I formed TNC to unite these developments, to create an innovative and advanced infrastructure.
There’s an increase of new crypto and blockchain with many companies trying to grow their communities. We already know about 2000 companies listed on CoinMarketCap, and new coins and tokens appear every day. I thought, instead of small companies gathering to become communities, working together will foster a broader ecosystem offering more use cases, enough to convince more people to join our community. With all the attention crypto is getting from big enterprises, the time is right, and it is now.
How can TNC plan to contribute to raising crypto adoption?
One of the answers is through this M&A program. Small companies and start-ups can give their ideas, and innovative decentralized projects so that they can be showcased. I believe we leverage blockchain technology better if we create a vast ecosystem for people to see flexibility and adopt crypto conveniently.
How do you feel about Bruce Jeong and the TNC team in general?
Bruce and I are good friends, and I have faith that he will be able to deliver his duty as the CEO for TNC. He’s been very active in the blockchain community and is a true visionary; that’s why I like him. He has valuable exposure that gave him many insights into the blockchain industry.
As for the TNC team, we collaborate with M&A experts and other experienced blockchain professionals to work on our projects. I trust our HR department to reach out and hire the right people for the job. We know blockchain is a growing industry and not many candidates have in-depth knowledge about the technology and the business as a whole. So, in TNC, we do our best to invest and continuously up-skill our team, especially in the technical and marketing department. We have a growing in-house team with people who chose the emerging blockchain industry as a career path. These passionate people who work to create something meaningful and innovative are indeed valuable assets of the company.
