TE Academy, the home for all things token engineering, has joined forces with EthCC Paris, one of the most important Ethereum community conferences globally, to organize an entire conference stage exclusively dedicated to token engineering on Wednesday, July 19! This unprecedented collaboration marks a significant milestone in our mission to provide a platform for token engineering builders and students to discuss, build, and spread tools that matter for the Token Engineering discipline.

The Token Engineering conference day will take place on July 19 during the EthCC Paris conference.

EthCC Paris attracts some of the brightest minds in the blockchain space, and by dedicating an entire stage to token engineering, we aim to bring together a diverse range of experts, researchers, developers, students, and professionals passionate about designing and building robust token ecosystems.

- Talk: “Carbon — a Significant Change for On-chain Liquidity, and How we Designed it” with Carbondefi.xyz’s Dr. Mark Richardson: He’ll share the development process with a special focus on the collaboration between theorists, smart contract developers, and BancorDAO
- Talk: “Long-term Growth Strategies using Token Incentives” with Gauntlet’s Gabe Pohl-Zaretsky: A quantitative look into the research Gauntlet is doing to help Uniswap build out a long-term growth strategy using token incentives and how this applies to your protocol

What can I expect when attending?
So far, cryptoeconomics conference talks and programming have focused on specific cryptoeconomic mechanisms and related research. During our Token Engineering Day at EthCC, we’ll highlight a maker perspective centered around the question: How does Token Engineering work in practice?
We’re inviting projects, token engineering practitioners, and builders to discuss the following questions:
- What is the starting point for a token design? What about the requirements?
- How to get from a business model to a token design?
- How to shape collaboration with token engineers and developers?
- How can one align the work of economics designers, smart contract developers, and DAO decision-making?
- Finally, how can projects launch a token successfully?!
In addition to these enriching discussions, attendees will hear from expert speakers as highlighted above, discover cutting-edge research, participate in several networking opportunities, and engage with panel discussions and Q&A sessions. Our stage will allow attendees to discover collaboration opportunities and project ideas. Days after the Token Engineering Day at EthCC Paris, TE Academy is hosting a free, full-day TE Barcamp on Saturday, July 22, from 10 am to 7 pm CEST (8 am to 5 pm UTC). Secure your spot here!
The TE Barcamp is made by the community for the community. All attendees can present topics for presenting, discussing, and hacking. The main goal of this event will be for attendees to co-create an innovative and collaborative platform for exchanging knowledge and pushing the boundaries of token engineering.
