This is a post for anyone considering buying a big, expensive monolithic system. Stop and read this first it could save you your job, millons of Euro, a nervous breakdown and not seeing your kids for 3 years.
We had a wonderful day on Friday in NDRC at the xGovernment HackYourWayDay Event. Great people, great ideas, great solutions and finally around about 21:00 on Friday night we had some winners.
For anyone used to a full 2 day hackathon this is a shorter form it’s more akin to Jam than a ‘Thon. We’re going to spend the morning trying to get to the root of the problems and to develop some useful insights.
This is a cross government (and some outside of government) group, we’ve had cooperation and assistance from so many people. Thanks to all for bringing this together.
