We’re constantly wowed by you, our Trailblazers, and your dedication to continuous learning and growth. You’re committed to innovation, both in your career and at your company — and you’re not slowing down.

You’re a master of your domain, and there’s no better way to prove this than by earning globally-recognized Salesforce Certifications.

Whether you have one or many Salesforce Certifications, we want the maintenance process to be useful, educational, and efficient — to challenge, but not discourage, you on your learning journey.

Certification maintenance, now annual!

To streamline the certification maintenance process and free up more time for learning new skills, all certifications will now only require one maintenance module per year.

Now, your yearly maintenance deadline will depend on the certification(s) you hold. Select your certification(s) to learn more about when your specific maintenance module(s) will become available and when they need to be completed by:

Remember, if you don’t complete your maintenance requirements by the completion due date, your credential(s) will expire. Don’t let this happen — get it done sooner rather than later.

When is your yearly maintenance deadline? Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered! All certification holders will continue to receive maintenance module reminder emails.

Also, be sure to join the Salesforce Certified Professionals and Certification Exam Maintenance Trailblazer Community Groups for additional reminders.

🌟 Pro tip: View your maintenance status on your Trailblazer.me profile (your Trailhead and Webassessor accounts must be linked in order to see your maintenance requirements).

New Architect Designer maintenance module

Launching in December 2020, Architect Designer certifications will have their own maintenance module, created specifically for the designer and/or architect audience.

We recognize some of you are becoming Salesforce Certified Designers as you proceed on the path to architect, while others are not. No matter your goals, we’re committed to ensuring you have a specific maintenance module just for the designer exams, so you can continue to stay current in your role.

New badges to keep your skills sharp

While ensuring that maintaining your certifications is an efficient process, we also want to empower you with the tools to keep your skills sharp year-round.

That’s why, in addition to required annual maintenance, we’re releasing two new optional badges [no-/low-code and code] three times per year to help you continue to refresh your skills.

These new badges will be released in December 2020, in addition to the existing release highlights badge. And, they’ll include hands-on challenges wherever possible, so you can test out new features. No matter your role, you can keep your skills current all year round.

Grow your resume, highlight your skills

Whether you have multiple certifications or are just diving in, you can’t get too comfortable — and that’s a good thing. By maintaining your hard-earned certifications, you ensure you’re always up to date on the latest and greatest Salesforce has to offer.

Salesforce Certifications are a great way to prove your mastery and get a competitive edge. Earning industry-recognized certifications allows you to:

  • Gain global recognition as a Salesforce product expert.
  • Become a key player in your organization’s success.
  • Boost your career opportunities by highlighting in-demand skills and growing your resume.
