New Salesforce B2B Solution Architect Certification: Design Multi-Cloud B2B Experiences

With the new B2B Solution Architect Certification, we’re empowering Salesforce Solution Architects to design multi-cloud B2B solutions on the Salesforce Platform.

In December 2020, we launched the B2C Solution Architect Certification featuring curricula in Partner Learning Camp and on Trailhead to empower Trailblazers to build multi-cloud expertise needed to power personalized, frictionless customer experiences.

Today, we’re thrilled to further expand the Salesforce Architect community with our newest Architect certification: B2B Solution Architect.

Introducing the B2B Solution Architect Certification

Salesforce Certified B2B Solution Architects design end-state B2B-centric experiences that span multiple products on the Salesforce Customer 360 Platform including B2B Commerce, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Pardot, Revenue Cloud, Salesforce Field Service, Einstein Automate, Experience Cloud, Tableau CRM, and MuleSoft.

The B2B Solution Architect Certification allows you to build the expertise needed to validate the following core skills:

• Business: Demonstrate business leadership by guiding companies on a multi-cloud solution journey emphasizing differentiating customer experiences.
• Delivery: Drive successful outcomes by advocating for multi-cloud implementation considerations and best practices based on use-case delivery knowledge that spans the Salesforce Customer 360 Vision and Platform.
• Technical: Provide technical leadership by selecting the proper multi-cloud product features that best align with a company’s vision and business value goals.

To earn this certification, you must hold the Application Architect Certification.

The Application Architect cert encompasses the following prerequisites:

• Platform App Builder Certification
• Platform Developer I Certification
• Data Architecture and Management Designer Certification
• Sharing and Visibility Designer Certification

On the road to earning your B2B Solution Architect Certification, Trailhead has the resources you need to prepare:

• Review the B2B Solution Architect Exam Guide: The Exam Guide contains all of the information you need to know prior to sitting for your exam, including exam topics and relevant Trailhead modules to help you prepare.
• Complete the official B2B Solution Architect Cert Prep trailmix and Study For Trail: These step-by-step learning paths are aimed at helping you understand and apply the key concepts you’ll need to prove your skills and become a #CertifiedPro.
• Explore Partner Learning Camp (PLC): PLC is the premiere training ground for Salesforce partners. The B2B Solution Architect curriculum in PLC features 30 courses, also known as T-Ruth Mountain, to help Partner Trailblazers build multi-cloud capabilities.

Each eligible participant who completes the B2B Solution Architect curriculum in PLC before December 31, 2021, may receive a $400 USD certification voucher for the B2B Solution Architect Certification.
