Welcome to triT1Dtech! My name is Lauren and I am a PhD student in Information Systems, Type 1 Diabetic Ironman triathlete, and self-described tech nerd. Leveraging technology to enhance performance and life with T1D is my passion. I started this blog to share it with others. I am currently running a Dexcom G6, Libre, Garmin Watch, Sony Smartwatch 3, and Tandem t:Slim X2 insulin pump. My three biggest challenges this year are: 1. surviving my PhD, thriving at my second Ironman (Mont Tremblant) and checking my blood sugar as I swim 4.4 miles across the Chesapeake Bay.
