I’m Abby, 33, from Kent in the UK. This is my take on my journey through infertility and three failed rounds of IVF. I aim to detail the nitty, the gritty and everything in between, to give an honest view of what it’s like to live in this world I, and so many others, find ourselves unwillingly inhabiting. Trigger warning: I describe medical procedures and other equally exciting elements of fertility treatment. My hope is that a candid account of my experiences may help someone else feel better prepared than I was, to enter into this process and the physical and mental toll it can take. And to remind myself and others that we are not alone.
