Greetings everyone,

As we are approaching a new phase in our project, we will be improving communications and marketing. Part of that will be regular monthly updates where we will recap what is happening with Universal Protocol, our partners, and progress on our mission to onboard 100M users into crypto.

At Universal Protocol, we are building an ecosystem with incredible products that will bring the next 100 million users to the cryptoverse. To do this, we are building an alliance of the biggest and best , to create a network that will attract non-traditional crypto users to this world. What began as a conversation about how to make this technology go mainstream has transformed into an alliance that comprises CertiK, Bittrex International, Cred, Uphold, Brave, Blockchain at Berkeley, and more on the way.

Building the UP Universe

As mentioned in our community update two weeks ago, we are expanding the utility of the UPT token and are working to integrate it with partners across the Universal Protocol Alliance (and beyond). We are actively making progress on this front and should have the first announcements about this over this coming month.

Likewise, we have also been actively closing agreements to add major new members to the Universal Protocol Alliance which should also be finalized and announced shortly.

We have been fielding a lot of questions surrounding the launch of Libra, Facebook’s crypto currency and payment initiative. While there are some similarities with the histories of the founders and scope of the project, we strongly feel that Universal Protocol and our underlying technology of transparency, decentralization, and interoperability will ultimately provide unheard of levels of utility, functionality, and, ultimately, adoption. We won’t speculate on any integrations with the Libra blockchain at this point.

UPT Token Unlock

Progress has also been made on this front. As we have discussed multiple times, we are iterating to a bigger vision for Universal Protocol which is a delicate procedure that will affect the future of our project. A hasty UPT unlock without a solid plan would absolutely not be in the best interest of the project. Once we have a firm piece of news to share with everyone we will do so. Expect something soon.

Upcoming AMA

In the coming week we will announce the structure of an upcoming AMA with one of the founders of Universal Protocol.
