One of the most exciting parts about contributing your photos to Unsplash is understanding how it’s being used, or how it’s helped someone. Whether your photo has found its way into an artist’s digital collage, a student’s Chemistry project, or a writer’s blog post.

It’s one of the main reasons we improved our stats page with the Top Features section, and it’s also why our API partners are so important to us. They’re able to extend Unsplash’s reach, and bring your inspiring visuals to audiences around the world who are ready to use your imagery make something awesome.

And while we get to witness contributors’ excitement about being featured across the internet, when an image is included in a news article or publication, it really takes the cake. And thankfully, with our recent Unsplash for Media launch, that’ll be happening a whole lot more.

Unsplash + Atex Desk

We’re so excited to announce our latest Unsplash for Media partnership with Atex — a multi-channel content management platform that powers publications like CBC and Bell Media in Canada, Newsday in US, JPI Media in UK, GEDI Group in Italy, and more. Their system works to gather content, manage assets and coordinate content production and publishing workflows. Which means that by integrating with Atex, these news publications will now have access to the entire Unsplash library, making it easier for journalists to find the perfect visuals to accompany their articles.

More on Unsplash Partnerships. Unsplash for Media is part of our continued mission to enable creativity by making quality visuals openly accessible.

1,800+ partners including Squarespace, Buzzfeed, Medium, Dropbox, Trello, Adobe, Google, Figma, Square, WeTransfer, and Wix, support this mission by officially integrating with the Unsplash API.
