How to Create an Upland Account

So you’ve decided to enter the exciting world of Upland! We applaud you, and welcome you to a new platform that will change the face of digital ownership. Upland is built on blockchain technology so everything you collect in the game is yours to keep in real life. But how do you get started?
Well nobody’s got time for long set-up processes, especially in Upland where time roaming the virtual streets = time well spent!💰That’s why we’ve made our sign-up process super simple and lightning quick.
To start collecting digital properties, all you need is an email address. That’s it! There’s no need to set up a crypto wallet, as Upland’s innovative on-boarding system automatically creates an EOS account for you once you’ve acquired enough assets in the game and become a full-fledged Uplander. (Note: In the closed beta phase, all testers who purchase a property automatically become Uplanders.)
The private keys generated for an Upland EOS account are created on the player’s device by the Upland game client where they will be ciphered, secure, and not visible to anybody. Crypto aficionados will also have the option to generate and use their own private keys for the account if they wish to in the future.
We believe our unique sign-up method and easy payment options will truly bridge the gap between crypto holders and mainstream gamers, by offering a simple gateway into the blockchain space for people with limited crypto experience. Step 1: Visit Upland.me and sign up via email
Enter your email address at https://upland.me to start your journey. You will be added to the waitlist for beta testing. To move up the waitlist, invite your mates and spread the word about Upland.
Step 2: Wait for an invitation email with your access code
New beta testers are invited regularly to play, so keep an eye on your inbox for an invitation email. Don’t worry if you haven’t received an invite code, there will also be other opportunities to obtain a beta test invite, so stay tuned!
Once you receive an invite email, you will have access to a unique code to create your Upland account. Either click the link in the email or visit https://play.upland.me to enter your email address and your access code.
Important: Players can only access the game via a mobile web browser so please ensure you are using a mobile device for this step.
You will then be prompted to create a username and password. Once you’ve created your username and password you will receive a verification email to confirm your account.
That’s it! You’re in.
