Today we’re highlighting an excellent UCN resource for all Upland players, TheTurbo’s Upland.academy.
Upland.academy is a knowledge base that helps Uplanders master the mechanics of the game, optimise their in-game strategy, and maximise their UPX earnings. I recently asked TheTurbo a few questions about his newly founded Academy, read on below!
How would you describe The Upland Academy?
The Upland Academy is a cool place to learn how Upland functions. It offers valuable content for both new players and veterans. The academy uses a step-by-step approach and presents the information in various courses. Each course is divided into smaller chapters so that one can work through the topics on their individual learning. I still have many great ideas for the future so stay tuned.
What motivated you to create it?
When Is started playing Upland in summer 2019 the game had pretty simple mechanics and there was not so much to do. Over the months many more features have been implemented and the learning curve for new players became steeper. I noticed that oftentimes new players were asking the same questions, so instead of copy and pasting the reply I thought that it would be a cool idea to create a solution where all the necessary information is stored in one place. And so it began.
What’s your favourite thing about Upland?
Being part of this innovative game and most importantly the awesome community. If we all work together to improve the game via giving feedback it can become a huge success. I’m really looking forward to 2021.
