“Maa, I Love You”
Shelter in Life’s Storms
In the cradle of love, a mother’s embrace,
A structure built with boundless grace
“Maa, I love you,” the heart whispers clear,
A melody sweet, a song for her ear.
Her love, a haven, so nice and true,
A guiding light in all that I do.
Loving, caring, her touch so divine,
In her warm presence, love’s stars align.
Daring, she faces life’s trials with might,
A pillar of strength in the darkest night.
When gloom surrounds, she’s a sunbeam bright,
Chasing away shadows, bringing pure light.
In moments of tension, in worries untold,
Her lap, a shelter, where peace unfolds.
Her soothing words, a balm for the soul,
A tranquil harbor where anxieties roll.
In the mother’s love, divine and clear,
God’s reflection in her heart sincere.
May the Lord keep her alive and well,
In the embrace of health, happiness swell.
May her days be adorned with joy and ease,
May her heart know only sweetest seas.
Shower her with love, as she showers on me,
My Guardian angel, in grace and glee.
In her love, I find solace and peace,
A love that never seems to decrease.
Maa, I love you, forever to be,
For your love is God’s gift, a divine key.

(peace be upon him)صَلَّى ٱللَّٰهُ عَلَيْهِۦ وَآلِهِۦ وَسَلَّمَ
First, it was written in prose,
I sat down to pen my feelings for the most important person in my life — my mother. As a child of hers, she has provided me with lots of love, encouragement and direction. From the time that I came into the world, she’s been my defender and anchor.
Her arms have always been a secure place for me, a place where I am able to find peace and tranquility during stressful moments. Whatever difficulties I confront, her embrace helps to ward off any trace of doubt or sorrow. Her gentle words and touch are like a healing massage for me.
Mom is surely strong, yet loving. She has to face life’s ups and downs with aplomb, serving as a source of light even through my darkest hours. When the unexpected knocks her smile and laugh are sufficient to lighten my day. She is gifted with making any circumstance feel more comfortable.
Over the years, her unwavering support and love have helped me stay positive. She is always there to listen, without judgement whenever I need an ear to listen. The lap of her is the only place where I get refuge from the stress of daily life. I will cherish forever those moments of peace that we have with each other.
My mother to me is a reflection of all the wonderful characteristics of love, grace, and kindness. Every day she wakes up with a focus on nurturing the well-being of our family and ensuring that we are happy. I hope that God gives her peace, happiness, and health for all the selfless blessings she has gifted me. My heart is filled with gratitude to this guardian angel whose love has no limits.
Mom, I am grateful for shaping me into the person I am today. Your lessons about love, compassion, and strength will be with me for the rest of my life. I love you so much Today and for the rest of my life. You truly are God’s most precious gift to us.
