About
Urban Empath
Can we be fierce and bold in today’s corporate world, without losing our sensitive, mystical selves? Yes, and here’s why: we’re a community doing just that. Join us?
Note from the editor

I support ambitious and highly sensitive people — like me! Experiencing life unfiltered can feel too personal and overwhelming, especially in today’s fast-paced, anonymous world. I help people harness their sensitivity superpower and turn it into their greatest asset, so everyone can thrive in today’s corporate, urban jungle. Before getting my MBA at the Stanford Graduate School of Business, I was with the Environmental Defense Fund in India advocating for rural communities to state and federal policymakers. I published several academic papers, including in the journal Science, and learned how effectively I move initiatives forward by cultivating trust and empathy. If you’re wondering how that led me to executive coaching and community building at a fast-growing San Francisco startup, so am I. Though as Steve Jobs said, “you can’t connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards.” I’ll take his word for it. In my free time, you can find me connecting my head to my toes as a Vinyasa yoga instructor and Argentine Tango dancer.
