Watches of Wales is kicking off a brand new Utrust custom payments app for Shopify
We have developed a custom payment app for Shopify, and Watches of Wales is kicking off the programme.
You might have heard of Shopify.
Well yes, it is the largest ecommerce platform in the world.
Shopify is gigantic
There are over one million stores using Shopify. That means a lot of money goes through their systems. 100 billion USD? Yeah, they’ve cleared that.
This means that Shopify is and will continue to be one of the key names in the expansion of ecommerce (which we have discussed).
Shopify plus users boast a 126% year-over-year growth, which far exceeds the market average.
And now… with the addition of Utrust… things are going to get even better.
Digital currencies are growing, and Utrust is growing with them
Over 100 million people worldwide are now using digital currencies.
That’s a 189% growth in users since 2018.
And Utrust is a big part of that. We have written an article about the numbers of Utrust (and a Twitter thread!), and the kicker is that Utrust has processed over 25 million USD in 2020, with the vast majority of that coming in the second semester.
Now, Utrust is tapping into the largest e-commerce platform
Utrust has created a customized Shopify integration, that will allow merchants to install a personalised version of the Utrust app.
Applications are now open, and if you are a merchant, you should definitely apply, since the opening will be gradual and onboarding will happen for only a few businesses at a time.
