Verasity’s Latest Zealy Updates: Exciting New Features and Sprint Launch

In early April, Verasity unveiled its launch on Zealy, a Web3 community-building platform that helps turn community members into ecosystem contributors. The announcement has since attracted more than 1,500 active contributors, who have helped to promote Verasity across various social media channels while competing for prizes such as VRA tokens.

Our Questboard — which boasts almost 100 different Quests — has yielded an impressive collection of community-generated content, most notably through the “Create a Video,” “Write an Article,” and “High-Quality Thread” Quests. The caliber of submissions we have received has been truly outstanding. In fact, we have been so impressed that we have showcased a few of them on our socials.

Given the success of our initial campaign on Zealy, we’re now laser-focused on improving and enhancing our Zealy community-building efforts, with the aim of attracting even more users and generating more high-quality content from our contributors.

New Sprint Now Live

Initially, our plan for this Sprint was to provide a $300 VRA prize, centered around our goal of reaching 300,000 followers on Twitter. If successful, we intended to double the prize pool. However, we are delighted to share that we have surpassed this milestone ahead of schedule! In celebration of reaching 300,000 followers on the Verasity Twitter, we are thrilled to announce the launch of our exciting new Sprint. This 10-day event is packed with opportunities to win VRA rewards totaling $600.

The Sprint is now officially live and will continue until July 03, 2023. Below you’ll find the details of our revamped rewards strategy for this Sprint:

1st Place 🥇: $175 VRA plus entered into the top 10%, 20%, and 30% lucky draws.
2nd Place 🥈: $125 VRA plus entered into the top 10%, 20%, and 30% lucky draws.
3rd Place 🥉: $100 VRA plus entered into the top 10%, 20%, and 30% lucky draws.

But wait, there’s more! We also have additional prizes for participants who secure positions in the top 10%, 20%, and 30% of the leaderboard:

Top 10%: Entered into a lucky draw to win $90 VRA plus entered into the top 20% and 30% lucky draws.
Top 20%: Entered into a lucky draw to win $75 VRA plus entered into the top 30% lucky draw.
Top 30%: Entered into a lucky draw to win $35 VRA.

New Rewards Strategy

In response to the ever-evolving needs of our community, we have reevaluated and revamped our rewards structure in order to further incentivize user engagement and participation. As a result, we are excited to announce that we have implemented a new approach that we believe will benefit both current and future members alike.

Previously, our rewards structure only rewarded the top 10 contributors on the leaderboard, which we have since realized may have discouraged new members and latecomers from joining the community, as they might have felt that they didn’t have a fair chance of winning. In light of this, we have decided to adjust our approach to ensure that all contributors have a chance to be recognized and rewarded for their efforts.

Under our new system, the top 10%, 20%, and 30% of contributors will be entered into a lucky draw — each tier of contributors will have its own set of prizes, outlined in the details of the campaign. This means that contributors who are not in the top percentile will still have a chance to win a prize and be recognized for their efforts. We believe that this will create a more equitable system that will encourage more members to participate and contribute to the community.

Furthermore, we understand that our top contributors are an essential part of our community, and we want to ensure that they are appropriately recognized for their contributions. As such, we will also be offering additional prizes specifically for the top contributors. These top contributors will also be entered into all three lucky draws, which means they will have an increased chance of winning prizes and being acknowledged for their dedication to the community.

Resetting the Leaderboard

To make the onboarding process smoother and reduce confusion for new users, we have decided to reset the leaderboard after each Sprint. While this change may limit the ability to display certain information related to long-term contributors, we believe that it will help to create a more level playing field for all users, especially for those who are new to our community. This will provide a fairer and more accurate reflection of each user’s contributions, which we believe is important in building a thriving and collaborative community.

While we understand that some long-term contributors may be disappointed with this change, we want to assure them that we are exploring ways to recognize their contributions in the future. We are currently considering the possibility of tracking an all-time leaderboard that would reward those who have consistently contributed over a more extended period of time. Once we have a better understanding of how this system would work, we will make sure to inform the community and provide further details on the implementation.

Our team has been hard at work, and we’re excited to announce that our Questboard is now loaded with even more exciting Quests and categories for you to explore and tackle.
