Your subscribers now receive a snazzy star badge when they leave comments, tips, and upvotes on your videos. Here’s how it looks on my comment on Weirdest News’ video:

A couple of weeks ago we published a blog post highlighting the problems with an ad-supported revenue model for video creators. TL;DR: 1.) most ads suck, 2.) most creators don’t make much money from ads, and 3.) quantity of views is rewarded over quality.

The channel page of individual community members now displays the dollar amount of tips distributed to other creators and received from the community. See how it looks on theoldsparrow’s (vid.me/theoldsparrow) channel:

You can now view the last 100 community members who have distributed tips to Vidme creators. Navigate to this panel via the Community tab or direct nav via vid.me/users/tipped.
