How to use the Twitter Tip Bot for VINU
The following guide will show you how to use the Twitter tip bot for VINU and some general directions related to it.
What is the Twitter tip bot?
An automated Twitter account (a bot) that lets you send cryptocurrency to other Twitter accounts or your personal wallet. The bot we are talking about only works for VITE and tokens on the VITE blockchain like VINU. It can also act as a wallet for your crypto, but it is recommended you do NOT leave large amounts on Twitter as it is much safer in your own personal crypto wallet.
Where can I find the bot?
The Twitter account is: https://twitter.com/vitctipbot

What does a tip look like?
Below is an example of the VINU twitter account responding to a tweet with a tip. Also in the example, it shows the bot responding to confirm the tip went through and a link to the transaction log. Not shown; the user will also receive a direct message (DM) that they received a tip.
How to interact with the bot and do some basic commands?
You received a tip, now what? You want to direct message (DM) the bot the command .help to get started.
- Go to the tip bots profile page (https://twitter.com/vitctipbot) and click the DM button. If you have received a tip in the past you might see some messages already. The below screen shot is from desktop/web, but it works the same on mobile.
2. You should now be in conversation with the bot. The .help command will show you an overview of all the commands the bot will understand. The .balance command will show your current balance.

.deposit
.help
.tip <amount> {currency} <…@someone>
.withdraw <amount|all> {currency} <vite_addr>
Public Commands:
@vitctipbot tip <amount> {currency} <…@someone>
How to withdraw VINU to your personal wallet?
- You will need your ViteX wallet already setup, to then copy your address.

2. Use the send command in the bot.
.withdraw <amount|all> {currency} <vite_addr>
For example (also in screen shot):
.withdraw 100000 vinu vite_123ads213…..321c
3. You will then get a confirmation of the transaction and check your wallet for the the crypto (should take a few seconds to come).
Tipping Someone:
To tip someone just respond to a tweet with the tip command →
@vitctipbot .tip 100000 vinu
Or you can create a new tweet and mention the user →
@vitctipbot .tip 100000 vinu @VitaInuCoin
To Deposit into the tip bot:
- DM the bot .deposit
- It will respond with an address
- Send your VINU to that address form your wallet
