Be a Vuilder and Earn Rewards

So many chains, so many choices… Why build applications on Vite? What do you get in return when you learn our tech and participate in the network? 🤔

There are four main ways for devs to prosper with us: 1) running a cross-chain gateway on ViteX, our DEX 2) being a trading pair operator on ViteX 3) winning hackathons and bounties 4) being a Snapshot Block Producer (SBP).

Become a Vuilder and earn rewards!

💸 Be a Cross-chain Gateway or Trading Pair Operator

Gateways provide technology for cross-chain tokens to trade on ViteX. For example, AVAX is issued on the Avalanche chain and the Experiment DAO gateway facilitates cross-chain trading. A gateway allows popular coins to join the Vite ecosystem by becoming tradable on ViteX.

An operator is an entity that issues a trading pair on ViteX like VINU/USDT and AVAX/USDT. Operators set and collect their own trading fees. Learn about operators and gateways here.

💸 Build with Solidity++

Many DApps are built on the Vite chain. These projects often issue their own tokens to bootstrap adoption and traction.

For a quick tutorial on Solidity++, check out Vite Express. It’s a template (replete with solid UI) for making new DApps. For general information about building on Vite, check out our new developer documentation.

ViteX is the native source of liquidity for projects built on Vite. You can see a list of ecosystem projects here.

💸 Win Hackathons and Bounties

From time to time, Vite hosts hackathons on Gitcoin. We’ve had Open Tasks as well, in which teams submit any completed DApp for a prize. Bounties are great opportunities too. You can earn rewards for finding bugs and creating new projects. Examples can be seen here (Gitcoin Grant Round 14).

💸 Be a Snapshot Block Producer

Generally speaking, an SBP in Vite fulfills the function of nodes and supernodes. We need SBPs for our consensus mechanism: Hierarchical Delegated Proof of Stake. You can see a list of SBPs here.
