Progressive candidates for State Primaries, 22 May 2018
Voters in Arkansas, Georgia, Texas and Kentucky can make a difference today. Primaries matter. We say that grassroots politics is important to us and talk about how we want politics to be accountable at a local level. Well, this is our chance.
We must get to know the candidates in our districts and familiarize ourselves with their stance on the issues that matter to us. Let’s vote for candidates based on their platform and their principles — not just their ability to win.
We at The Digital Left and Voices of the Revolution believe that it’s time to change the status quo and get money out of politics. The following candidates who are up for election today have been endorsed by either Our Revolution or Justice Democrats. We believe that supporting these candidates will continue to change the narrative of politics. Candidates don’t have to be corporate-funded careerists to win. What is more important is integrity and the courage to focus on issues that matter to us.
But this only works if we vote.
