Invitation: Run a PoS node on Wanchain testnet during our public test, earn bounty rewards

Dear PoS Validator Node Operators,

As some of you may already know, on April 21st, at Epoch 19103, the Wanchain Testnet underwent a successful hard fork. The primary purpose of this hard fork was to upgrade the Gwan EVM. This major upgrade makes the Wanchain blockchain fully compatible with the Ethereum’s London fork EVM and fully supports the EIP1559 protocol. Not only does this upgrade add a per-transaction $WAN token burning mechanism, it further enhances the capabilities of the Wanchain blockchain and greatly facilitates the migration of new Dapps from Ethereum to Wanchain.

A one-month bounty program for Wanchain Gwan EVM upgrade will begin on April 25th, 2022 and run till May 25th, 2022. We will issue a notice through Wanchain’s owned media channels if the public test needs to be extended.

As PoS Validator Node Operators on Wanchain’s mainnet, you are uniquely qualified to help test every component of Wanchain’s new Gwan EVM. As such, we kindly request your participation in this public test by deploying a testnet PoS Validator Node. You can deploy at any time (though the sooner the better!) and will receive bounty rewards at the conclusion of the public test.

Key Information

• Start: From April 25th, 2022.
• End: May 25th, 2022.
• Duration: 1 month. We will inform you if the public test needs to extend.
• Eligibility: Anyone who, as of April 23rd, 2022, was running a PoS Validator Node on Wanchain’s Mainnet.
• $WAN test coins: The number of $WAN staked in your testnet PoS Validator Node should be similar to your Mainnet PoS Validator Node’s self-stake + partner-in balance. $WAN test coins will be issued by the Wanchain team.
• Required environment: The environment in which you deploy your Testnet PoS Validator Node should match your Mainnet PoS Validator Node’s environment.
• Participation rewards: You will receive 100USD worth of $WAN and an additional 800 $WAN for the 1 month test. Should testing be extended, you will receive an addition 25USD worth of $WAN per week.
• Other rewards: Besides operating the Testnet PoS Validator Node, you can choose to monitor your node’s performance and perform other tests such as verification, P2P broadcasting, block generation, etc. If you encounter any bugs and report them, you will be rewarded accordingly, on the basis of bug severity.
