WX.Network: New Name, Ongoing Mission — Make Crypto Accessible for All
Waves.Exchange is rebranding to WX.Network. Read on to see the updated brand design, our rationale for the name change.
Since Waves.Exchange launched five years ago as ‘Waves DEX,’ its services have expanded well beyond simple token swapping. Today, Waves.Exchange is a robust platform for self-sovereign crypto management with a suite of investment tools in a convenient interface.
The WX native token helps users earn passive income from staking, while giving voting and boosting power to locked WX token holders who receive gWX. Through voting, WX holders are able to influence the platform’s development, verify tokens, support new pool launches, and modify liquidity pool APY rewards, and soon — WX token distribution rates, fee amounts, and much more.
Through boosting, users can secure even higher APYs from their investments in Waves.Exchange pools. Beyond investment opportunities, the exchange also lets you raise funds or add more utility to your dApp (decentralized application), through its token launching, listing, and liquidity pool capitalization features.
With the substantial development of Waves.Exchange over the past three years, it is no longer accurate to call the platform an ‘exchange’. So today we are excited to announce the next evolution of Waves.Exchange to WX.Network. This new name more accurately reflects the wide array of products, features and capabilities the platform now offers.
Although the look and feel of WX.Network is fresh and new, our mission of offering users a convenient decentralized platform for buying, swapping, trading and investing crypto remains the same. Next, we’ll explore the new enhancements we are working on for WX.Network.

WX.Network offers technologists and entrepreneurs full-lifecycle token governance. Each user can create their own token and liquidity pool, and promote it to investors.
The near-term development plans for WX.Network also include a launchpad partnership with Waves Camp for Initial Liquidity Offering (ILO) service to attract investors and support the development, promotion and launch of the next generation of Waves ecosystem projects. Waves Camp is now live, learn more here. The partnership with Waves Camp will mean all projects incubated by Camp will launch their ILO on WX.Network. This not only means a whole host of new projects coming to the Waves Ecosystem, but get ready for Airdrops of all shapes and sizes for WX token stakers.
Use metamask with WX.Network
WX.Network also now supports the industry leading MetaMask wallet browser extension. Support for MetaMask lowers the barrier of entry for new users and gives existing users an even more streamlined experience. Single token investments in liquidity pools are now active with APY up to 165%
One of the most important new updates to the WX.Network is the enhanced Liquidity Pool smart contracts. Starting today, we are happy to announce that single-token liquidity can now be provided to every pool on WX.Network. This smart contract upgrade eliminates the need for users to manually buy two tokens in a given liquidity pool.
Instead of being required to deposit equal amounts of a pair of tokens in a given pool — for instance, USDN and WAVES for the WAVES-USDN pool — users may now provide liquidity with only one token — and the smart contract automatically does the rest.
0% fees on OTC trades above $10k in value
Another recent enhancement is improved functionality for the WX.Network OTC service. Now, in addition to USDT, users can instantly swap amounts over 10k USDC to USDN with 0% OTC Service fee via Smart Contract. The OTC service page design has also been improved with the addition of quick swap functionality.
A brand new referral program, you can earn trading fees by referring your friends
We are always looking for new ways for WX stakers to earn rewards. With the recently updated referral program, anyone can now earn rewards on WX.Network using their referral link. This lets WX stakers earn even more passive income from referrals, from their staked WX, and from their trading operations. How cool is that?!
These are just a few of the recent and upcoming upgrades to WX.Network. There’s much to come including further improvements to the referral program, the WX.Network protocol and even some fun gamification additions — but no more spoilers for now!

New Name, New Look
In addition to rebranding our name to WX.Network, we have also updated the website’s design. We want users entering WX.Network to feel like they are embarking on a mission to explore and conquer new Web3 worlds. And WX.Network is the NASA of their adventure, making sure that everyone’s mission to explore the crypto space is unforgettable.
We would like to specifically thank our design team who worked very hard on the updated website design. It turned out really cool!
So far, the main page has received the updated look, but, gradually, we will update the interfaces and design of all other WX.Network pages.
The second stage of rebranding will be migration to the WX.Network domain. A detailed step-by-step migration guide will be published shortly. But for now, please, remember to stay secure and safe! Only two official domains exist: waves.exchange and wx.network, do not enter your seed phrases or any other personal information on any other domains. And please remember, our staff will never ask you for personal information — do not give it to anyone!
