Greetings, Waves community! We’re back from the break, which means you can once again enjoy the most meme-intensive but surprisingly coherent digest on the planet. Let’s give each other a virtual hug after a long time apart and get to the ecosystem news.

Sorry, that was unintentional. First things first.
Waves Ducks is already six months old, and we just can’t keep our bills shut. The past few months have been packed full of exciting and meaningful stuff. But the Waves universe is not only about ducks, so we’ve got a lot to share.
About our ducks
In six months on the NFT game market, Waves Ducks has managed to evolve into an entire metaverse with its own exclusive mechanics.
As you may know, games are not about playing, they’re about showing everyone online how cool you are. That’s why in the DIP-3 update we released a series of achievements, which will show other players your trophies and will give significant in-game bonuses later on.
Got tired of a certain duck? No problem! Now you can send that “ugly duckling” to the rebirth. Who knows, as a result you might get your desired duck with the desired rarity or an additional perch for farming. And the bravest of hunters will have a chance to snag a legendary phoenix. So go for it!*

In preparation for the duck space program to travel across the metaverse, in the middle of September we updated and re-released the EGG token. The new token will allow ducks to conquer new galaxies (that is, other protocols) and will also lower the entry threshold to the game with the addition of 8 digits after the decimal.

If you think we spent the whole break splashing around in the pool with the duckies, you’re mistaken. The Waves team keeps releasing new products and extending the features of the existing ones.
A major milestone was the launch of the Waves blockchain-based decentralized lending protocol, Vires.Finance, where anyone can act as a lender or borrower. A distinctive feature of the protocol is a common investment pool, so lenders can earn passive income that depends on the demand for loans.
WAVES, USDN, EURN, USDT, USDC, ETH and BTC tokens are already available with Vires token joining them shortly. Liquidity providers have an opportunity to join the early-bird program to be among the first to get this token. Hurry up, the capitalization reached $500,000,000 in October!

The Polygon protocol is now available. You can now make transactions in USDN with the Polygon network.
EURN has been ported to the Ethereum network and now supports ERC-20 standard, allowing your tokens to automatically participate in stacking for passive income.
