Just under a year ago we released Infinity 3, and since then we’ve been working hard on the next iteration. Thanks to your feedback and support, we’re able to make the next leap towards a better PC game modding experience for all gamers.

We’re proud to introduce Version Guard, a UI rework, and a peek at the future of trainers.

Version Guard

As we announced a little over a month ago, we’re proud to bring Version Guard to fruition finally. It has been months in development, and we have poured hundreds of hours into perfecting it.

We believe this is the solution to an issue trainers and mods have been experiencing for years now. No longer do members have to worry about a game update breaking a trainer and bringing their fun to a halt.

Version Guard will run versions of your games that are proven to be compatible with trainers. It gives creators time to update their trainers, and makes it so you don’t have to wait to get back into the fun!

The best part is this is a completely free feature. Initially, this will be an opt-in beta to ensure that it’s entirely working before releasing to the public.

To enable the beta go to settings and click the “Version Guard” tab.

UI Rework

After hearing your feedback we have made some slight, but essential changes to Infinity’s UI.

“What’s the point of a massive sidebar with only three items?”

Bam. We teleported the tabs to the header.

“As beautiful as the games list is, with so many new games its grown hard to navigate.”

You’re right. We now have over 400 games in Infinity’s library, and it’s time to make them easier to manage. Your games are now viewable in a vertical list in the sidebar. Shout out to Steam for the inspiration. 😉

“I only really play games with trainers, it would be cool to see some related news.”

Done. You will now see relevant news on the game page.

Coming Soon: Community Trainers

Wait whaaat? Yes, you heard that right. Soon we will be allowing more community members to submit their own trainers to Infinity.

Our creators have done an outstanding job releasing trainers for over 400 games which have racked up millions of plays. It’s time to take the desktop app to the next level, and to do that we’re opening the app up to more contributors.

With that, we have completely reworked the way trainers work in the backend. You can see where we’re headed by taking a look at the new game page.

Special thanks to our Pro members. Without you, we wouldn’t be able to continuously make these updates and provide the community with a better application.

The countdown to version 5 starts now.
