First of all, we would like to congratulate you! We have more than 1100 active members on our Telegram groups supporting different languages (English, Russian, Chinese, Japanese, Portuguese, Spanish, Arabic, Hindi, Indonesian, Vietnamese, Korean & Korean (Kakao) + Italian, French, German are on the way)!
Today we have finally finished updates to our whitepaper, summary, and token model. All these documents are uploaded to and available on our webpage.
Since the launch of our token sale campaign, we have learned a lot what is important for you in making decisions to join the green revolution. Based on the collected data, we have restructured our whitepaper to create a document, which would be accurate, easy to read and informative.
Here are some of the main changes that we have made:
1. Adjusted explanations and provided visual schemes on how renewable energy providers tokenize energy and what can you do with the purchased energy tokens.
2. Adjusted our business and token models. According to the made changes, each renewable energy producer issuing its energy tokens will organize an auction on our platform. During the first 48 hours of the auction, only WPR token holders will have the right to participate in the auction and buy tokenized energy for the best price. The allocation of the energy tokens that participants can buy during the first 48 hours will depend on the number of WPR tokens he/she has. After the first 48 hours, everyone else can participate in the auction and buy energy tokens. So, now WPR token holders will get:
a. Priority access to buy energy in the auction; and
b. Green energy donated by the renewable energy producers.
3. Adjusted our donated energy calculations based on existing project pipeline waiting our launch. With the first clients Conquista Solar, Civitas Project and Novocorex, we are going to connect more than 1000 MW solar energy capacity plants to the platform and help them raise 200 million EUR through the sale of energy tokens.
4. Disclosed details of token distribution, our fundraising goals, and how we are going to spend the funds. Please note that we are preparing a separate blog post explaining why we are raising 35 million USD with detail explanations how these funds will be spent year by year.
5. Added new team members: Eyal Hertzog (token economics), Liraz Siri (security), Saber Aria (investments), Aaron Bitchler (investments) and Darius Rugevičius (investments), David Allen Cohen (energy & blockchain).
6. Added a list of all our partners working with us on page 22.
7. Supplemented Section 5 — our road map. Now this section contains information on how we are going to reach our goals from a technical perspective. It is important that the partnership with Elering validates our goals and allows us to have a strong partner in this long journey in transforming how energy is done and consumed.
The new materials will be translated into following languages: Russian, Chinese, Japanese, Portuguese, Spanish, Arabic, Hindi, Indonesian, Vietnamese, Korean, Italian, French, German. It will take couple of weeks.
