Feedback is the food of champions! So, in our latest software upgrade, we addressed points for improvement that frequently come up in feedback from customers.

We hope Release v1.1 helps our clients make the most of Wing Assistant and allows them to enjoy their experience even more. Read on to learn more about the features, technical fixes, and upgrades from this release that you should know about.

Our Improved Kanban Board

We’ve made it that much easier to track task progress and move around items on to-do lists. Customers can now add new tasks to their Kanban board. Here’s how to do it:

Step 1: Click on ‘Add Task’

First off, you can add tasks to your board by clicking on the upper right-hand corner of the To Do board. Clicking on ‘Add Task’ will bring you to this window:

Step 2: Enter Task Details

Once the Add Task window opens, you can start putting in more information. Write down the name of the task, a short description, and provide a deadline:

After filling out that form, you can click ‘Add Task’ and you’ll see your task on the To Do board! The tasks are listed in the order that you add them, so the most recent ones are at the bottom.

Step 3: Drag and Drop Tasks As Needed

If you’d like your assistant to prioritize a recently added task, you can indicate that by moving it up the board. Simply drag the card containing the task and drop it in the place you’d like it to go:

You can also move cards from ‘To Do’ to ‘In Progress’ and so on:

You or your assistant can also start chat conversations about individual tasks. All of these should make assigning and tracking activities more intuitive for you and your assistant.

The New Report Mistakes Feature

Speaking of the chatbox, we’ve added a way for you to provide feedback on your assistant’s output and messages. In the lower right-hand corner of each chat bubble, you’ll see a small icon as shown below:

Clicking on it takes you to a window where you can provide more information about what went wrong, or how your assistant can improve:

You can also report assistant errors on tasks — look for the icon in the lower right-hand corner of each card. It will take you to the same window.

Other Fixes You Should Know

Besides these new features, we’ve also made several app-wide fixes and updates:

  1. You’ll get more frequent announcements for new features, additions, and products that Wing has to offer in-app
  2. “Uploads” is now bug-free, and works without issue
  3. Forgot password now works without issue
  4. We’ve optimized the app to make it load faster!

We’ve also fixed the credentials feature — please revisit our post on updating credentials for more information on how to make them accessible to your assistant.

And there you have it, we hope you enjoyed this update!

Thank you for your time. If you have any questions, or if you would like to share your thoughts or insights on these new features, please contact Wing Support, or your Customer Success Manager. We’re always on standby to help you with all of your Wing-related concerns!
