A nonet poem.
We retreat to our eroding coast. The white orb ebbs as the leaves die.Unlike the eye’s horizon…
Sun shimmering downon a crisp, fall day, leaves skitteringthrough the grass.
When the fall winds gust
Fall is the best time of year.
The calendar rolls on.
