The prompt makes me think about epigenetics and how epigenes interact with the environment. Our experiences in the outside world are internalized physiologically and genetically. That means the environment is even more influential by interacting with our genes.

Through blogging, I learned the power of images and words in priming emotions. As writers, our words have a tremendous impact on our readers, and because of the three degrees of influence, that impact can be exponential.

That prompt made me think about the power of words, and it’s ultimate impact on our genes.
