While reading this story, I suggest listening to Johnny Cash’s Don’t Take Your Guns To Town.

“I’ll make him pay!”

With anguish, she watches him holster his dead brother’s blaster.

“Please, Beelljo. Let him rest. Leave your blaster at home!”

“I know what I’m doing, mum. I’m a man.”

She grabs him by the shoulders, tears running down her green face.

“I need your help on the farm, Beeljo.”

“When I come home — my revenge satisfied and a big bounty in my pockets — you’ll finally retire from moisture farming.”

He shakes off her hands and walks away.

Alone, she cries at her eldest’s grave.

Here lies Greedo.

Beloved son, brother and bounty hunter.

“Solo shot first.”
